I have just finished reading “The Last Lecture” and am eagerly looking forward to Jai’s book, “Dream New Dreams” I lost my husband to pancreatic cancer less than a year ago and am hoping to find some comfort and inspiration in Jai’s book. Randy Pausch has left an amazing and inspiring legacy to the world. His children can and will be so proud and grateful to have had him as their father.

This book is a must read for anyone working with people with cancer. I found the entire book extremely helpful. My husband died with stage IV colon cancer, April 15, 2011. Jai’s experiences helped me make sense of what happened and gave me courage to speak to the quality improvement team at our center. Thank you Jai Pausch for your courage and gift. Your book is my blessing.

I have a son with a thought disorder and being a caregiver in the sense that we will probably always have to support him, I picked this book up on my kindle. It was very helpful to Dream new Dreams for my life – not to live in the past or future – but live with hope and live in the present

I just lost my husband to lung cancer on 4/30/12. We fought it for 9 months. I feel stuck and not able to move forward in my life. I think I need to read this book.

I saw this yesterday when Jai was talking to Diane Sawyer. As I sat next to my father who is passing away from cancer and my mother struggling with being a caregiver I thought how perfect it was that I was with him to catch this about the book. I am in the midst of ordering it right now.
