Two Roads publishes 10-12 books a year – strong, page-turning stories either fiction or non-fiction.  Here’s a brief summary of the titles we have on the list to date.

CATS & DAUGHTERS is by Helen Brown, whose international bestseller CLEO, is now being made into a film by the makers of Whale Rider. AFTER CLEO continues her family story: this time there is a  serious illness to contend with, a mother and daughter struggle and a new cat quite unlike Cleo.   Helen is a New Zealander living in Melbourne.

DREAM NEW DREAMS by Jai Pausch is the memoir of Randy Pausch’s widow.  The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch was an international phenomenon; the courageous story of a man terminally ill with pancreatic cancer and the gift he was determined to leave his family. Jai’s moving and inspiring story documents their life from the time Randy was diagnosed to their new life after Randy’s death.  Jai lives in the States with their three young children.

Autumn 2012

HAPPIER AT HOME by Gretchen Rubin is a new self-help memoir from the author of The Happiness Project which has been on the New York Times bestseller list for over a year now.  In this, Gretchen explores how to make home a happier place, or…kiss more, jump more, abandon a project, read Samuel Johnson, and my other experiments in the practice  of everyday life.

Please join THE END OF YOUR LIFE BOOK CLUB written by Will Schwalbe.  A memoir of a special book club with just two members: a mother and a son.  Who doesn’t love books about books?   If you loved The Last Lecture and Tuesdays with Morrie, you’ll be equally inspired by this memoir of a mother and son and the books that inspired them. We were so inspired we started the Two Roads End of Your Life Book Club which  discusses the books they loved.

THE PUPPY DIARIES: raising a dog named Scout,  a tale of what happens when a smart New York Times editor decides to fill her empty nest with a puppy. Think Nora Ephron meets Marley & Me…  Jill Abramson was recently appointed executive editor of the New York Times, the first woman to hold that position.

In the spirit of TWO ROADS, these are strong voices and amazing lives, taking us all over the world with stories to love and recommend.
